Standing for more than two hours at atime, as well twisting, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching,andstooping regularly. Identify/distinguish colors and use of manual dexterityand fine motor skills.Communicate orally as well as ability to hear and understWork and operate motorized equipment as well as safely perform procedureswhere carelessness would potentially result in injury. Work in an environmentthat is uncomfortable due to drafts, noise, temperature variation orsimilar discomforts. Work in different types of terrain including water,sand, and dirt. Varying degrees of light as work may beginning early morningand continue in the evenings. Travel from home overnight.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIE: The Utility Locator is responsible fordetermining placement and marking the locations of existing undergroundutilities. The Utility Locator will be responsible for locating buriedtelephone, CATV, power, gas, or water lines.
