This is a non-EXEMPT position, with a 19.21/hr rate. It is a full-time permanent position. This is a good opportunity for recent HR college graduates. Assists with all phases of human resources activityin a manner that aligns with AceInfo's strategic goals. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Data entry into HRIS systems for new hires, terminations, and changes.Serves as the primary point of contact for newly hired employees ensuring that all required documents are collected and processed.Receives and responds to routine correspondence such as unemployment claims, employment verifications, reference checks and general human resources calls such as password resets.Responds to employee inquiries and/or escalates situations to Human Resources Director.Assists with exit interview process and communication of findings to management.Tracks employee use of FMLA and ensures that proper information is conveyed to the employees regarding its use.Responsible for termination exit checklists and emails to the internal distribution list.Assists employees with benefit enrollment and questions.Works on a variety of projects with HR Director to include Open Enrollment, Performance Evaluation, ADP Portal updates, EEO report, VETS 100A report, Affirmative Action Plan, Employee Morale events and Service Awards.Performs other duties as assigned by HR Director. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related fieldExcellent customer service experience and possess a professional demeanor and integrity, exercise discretion and tact, maintains strict confidentialityAbility to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.Ability to deal effectively in a diverse environment with individuals at all organizational levels.Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Power Point PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Prior experience with ADP HRB/Workforce Now or Deltek GCS1-3 years Human Resources experience via work, internship or classroom experience.
