SummaryKiewit Energy Group is seeking a Communications/Marketing Lead (Contract/Temporary position) who will help build a strategy to increase our recruitment and employment brand presence both internally and externally. This role will provide innovative strategies utilizing traditional and new approaches to enhance the candidate pipeline, build employment brand awareness about Kiewit, and maximize recruitment resources through the development of a best in class recruitment marketing plan. Must have proven skills in communicating for a company, to ensure better visibility and branding and have experience increasing brand awareness. Ability to prove ROI on social media and web-based programs is important. The ability to create marketing programs that drive results is critical. We measure results and are not afraid to take risks - if there is a potential for a reward. We are looking for someone who can think big-picture context while paying attention to the details of individual deliverables and projects and has outstanding writing and editing abilities. There will be opportunities to be creative leveraging video, interactive media, town hall meetings, newsletters, and many other communication channels. This function is relatively new at Kiewit and the philosophy of this program should remain simple- to strive to provide the best recruitment communications, media solutions, and capabilities in the industry setting our brand in a league of its own.Key Responsibilities•Assess current state of recruitment marketing initiatives and assist with defining and implementing an overall multi-channel recruitment marketing strategy.•Develop and oversee innovative and creative social media campaigns and messaging which differentiate Kiewit’s external presence in talent communities.•Identify proactive opportunities for the company and brands. •Research speaking opportunities, industry forums, conferences, trade shows, etc. for recruiting efforts.•Write and develop communications materials, including job descriptions, job advertisements, newsletters, key messages, Q&A, tweets and social media posts.•Develop a strategy to monitor campaigns and site/mobile metrics to evolve future strategies; ability to discuss ROI•Provide guidance on the employee referral site to include content management and campaign development/promotion.•Provide guidance and facilitates best practice sharing of internal/external recruitment marketing and brand-building campaigns.•Will manage development and writing of internal sales documents, brochures, videos, and other collateral materials used for recruitment.
Requirements
Qualifications•Undergraduate degree in communications, public relations, journalism, mass communication, marketing, or related area and a minimum of three years’ experience required in related field (Marketing, Employment Branding, Recruitment Advertising).•Demonstrated experience successfully leveraging social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) using their latest promoted products.•Prefer 3+ year’s communication experience in a corporate or recruitment advertising agency setting.•Portfolio of demonstrated web design and development, candidate’s attraction, internal communications, mobile, social, employer branding.•Excellent oral and written communication skills (writing samples required).•Knowledge of search engine optimization and/or search engine marketing.•Knowledgeable and skilled in talent acquisition and/or recruiting strategies; proven experience developing recruitment marketing strategies.•Project management experience with the ability to develop detailed project plans; proven experience and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.•Highly innovative individual with strong business acumen.•Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills.•Experience drafting Job Opportunity Announcements.•Strong project management skills are required with the ability to deliver results.•Creative thinker and writer who can engage multiple target audiences (technical & business); extraordinary communication and presentation skills.•Commitment to continuous learning; research and staying abreast of emerging technologies, media tools, platforms, and industry trends.•Capacity to develop & leverage competitive knowledge in sales situations.
