comScore, Inc. is seeking an experienced user experience manager. In this role you’ll be working with web developers, product managers, and our senior leaders in our organization to help define and interpret our business goals, product goals and user concerns into a compelling user experience to help drive insight out of our information.

**Job Title: Senior User Experience Manager**

**Location: Reston, VA**

**JOB FUNCTION:**

As comScore continues to grow and expand and as our products evolve and become more sophisticated, we need a UI/UX professional to help lead the design and user experience organization wide. While you’ll work independently on a number of projects, you’ll also collaborate with a number of different teams, ranging from Product Management, to Technology, to Client Services and Sales, and even to our senior executive leadership team.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:**

* Work as a key member of a small multidisciplinary team to lead the user experience research, requirements, spec writing and design for web based analytical applications.
* Ensure feature and product development decisions aligns to long term business goals and product roadmap
* Act as a central point of contact for product managers. Design and development resources to help define and enforce feature prioritization and definition
* Help define business roadmap and customer targets
* Collaborate with product management, C-Level executives and developers on the rapid prototyping of new solutions
* Understand business requirements and our data so that you can design reporting interfaces and navigation hierarchies that present our data and service options in an attractive, organized and meaningful way. This includes creating data visualizations that complement the data contained within our reports

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to determine the intent of a user and manage multiple conflicting objectives.
* 5+ years of experience in designing and prototyping for desktop applications, rich Web-based applications, and platform-level tools with experience in several of the following areas:
1. Usability
2. Information architecture and design
3. Web design
4. User interaction design
* In addition this person should be familiar with the following areas of expertise:
1. Human factors expert
2. Identity Designs
3. Taxonomy design
4. Interactive Marketing
* A track record of delivering high quality end-to-end designs for significant web-based applications or platforms.
* Strong design tool experience (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), and experience assessing usability and functionality.
* Experience with HTML/CSS/Javascrip/AJAX is preferred
* A detail-oriented and highly communicative personality, with the ability to work independently, think critically, solve problems, and influence others
* Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Human Factors, Design or related field
* An in-depth understanding of user-centered design principles and tools
* Successful candidates will have an online portfolio or example sites available for review
