We are changing the way businesses talk to their consumers, and vice versa. ___________________________________________________________________ ABOUT THIS ROLE We are growing quickly, and we would like to add enterprising individuals to the Security / Compliance function. The Infrastructure Management career family includes roles that manage the Technology infrastructure to support the availability of IT applications and Data Center activities. The Infrastructure Engineer will perform a range of Infrastructure management activities in order to maintain system performances, assuring system availability and troubleshooting for the system, platforms and its applications. In particular you can expect to: - Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise to both internal and vendor implementation teams in areas such as system definition (server, memory, storage, operating systems, connectivity), storage strategy and engineering, capacity planning, security engineering, operational system configuration specifications, design reviews - Perform research into optimal Engineering and Infrastructure solutions - Gain buy-in and commitment from IT/business partners; drive and facilitate standards compliance. Coordinate communications between various internal and external resources on formulating solutions, executing project plans and resolving issues. - Execute project related tasks and provide status reporting to project managers and stakeholders - Contribute to the developing and maintaining the engineering framework for implementing best practices in infrastructure engineering. Provide technical direction for cross-project engineering decisions and design for hosted systems monitoring and alerting, service continuity, and asset management. - Implement infrastructure best practices on design, support, and maintenance of core Isis network - Drive processes to monitor and support network and servers in a data center environment. - Ensure that systems are managed per established service level agreements. - Receive and respond to escalations from other teams. You will have the opportunity to: - Meaningfully impact the company’s (and, for that matter, the industry’s) trajectory - Work closely with executives across the organization - Grow your role as you see fit - Learn everything there is to know about mobile commerce and payments To be successful, you will need: - BA/BS in information technology. - IT Specialist with Systems Engineering experience, minimum 3-5 years. - Experience in all aspects of engineering including application, data, security and infrastructure. - Experience in designing infrastructure to meet the performance requirements of the application based on the data collected from the system and model for future growth. - Experience in a Data Center environment and working with Data Centers engineers in clearly communicating the infrastructure requirements. - Knowledge and proficient use of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of test engineering. - Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, multi-vendor environment. - Excellent documentation and communication skills, as well as ability work with team members, partners and off-shore vendors. - Strong analytical and software abilities, with knowledge of enterprise development tools and techniques. - Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements to logical architecture and guide implementation of robust solutions. - Demonstrated ability to work in a start-up environment and a passion for developing great products is highly valued. - Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with project staff, project management, subcontractors, and customers to solve complex issues. - Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. - Demonstrated ability to independently determine and develops approach to solutions. Technical Skills: - Experience in all aspects of engineering including application, data, security and infrastructure. - Active Directory experience a plus - Experience with multiple scripting technologies (shell, perl, python, etc); Java experience a plus. - Highly desire experience in the Web arena; including experience with multiple web and application servers and knowledge of SSL certificate management / PKI solutions. - Experience in designing infrastructure to meet the performance requirements of the application based on the data collected from the system and model for future growth. - Experience in a Data Center environment and working with Data Centers engineers in clearly communicating the infrastructure requirements. - Project management experience – would be an asset.
