Job Description
***Primary Responsibilities and Assignments:***
* Provides preventative and corrective field mechanical service on gas compression, process and / or production equipment on site at client locations. This position will be for the After Market Services Group based out of the Broussard, LA office and will be on a call-out basis.
* Comprehensive mechanical, diagnostic and analytical skills needed to provide excellent customer service.
* Performs maintenance overhauls and emergency services as needed.
* Responds to emergency maintenance calls.
* Requires moderate production equipment knowledge.
**Basic Qualifications:**
* High School Diploma or equivalent .
* Minimum of three or more years of compression process, production and equipment-related experience and/or training.
* Possess thorough knowledge of compressor packages including all components and systems.
* Has own tools.
* Has a valid driver''s license.
**Preferred Skills**
* Engine and compressor schools / training.
* Knowledge of high and slow speed equipment.
* Must be willing to travel extensively.
* Read, write, speak and understand basic English.
* Customer Service orientation.
* Drive and work in inclement weather conditions.
* Basic computer skills and ability to be proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
