This includes various areas of responsibilities throughout the USDA registered plant 31539G.Responsibilities: Maintain the micro laboratory in USDA recognition. Perform daily analytical testing on production lots. Maintain laboratory records up to date and ready for random USDA inspection. Maintain the laboratory clean as per good laboratory practices. Help management update SOPandrsquo;s, Forms and etc to SQF standards.Perform monthly environmental sampling.Verification and updating of quality library of records maintain up to date and ready for USDA random inspection. Verification of all regulated documentation including but not limited to, CIP charts, production forms warehouse forms, processing records.Work with USDA to ensure compliance and timely production start ups.Verification of pre operational procedures and documentation, guide and support production and sanitation employees towards effective pre operation inspections.Guide and support personal to effectively Ensure no idle employee time: Receive TankersEnsure product blending is efficiently done.Inspect quality and sufficient packaging material ready for the next production runEnsure labels are made correctly and are given to production employees with ample time before start up.Inspect room condition and schedule tasks according to master sanitation schedule and USDA findings.Create Forms as needed per management.Function as a technical resource for production.Maintain Pest Control Program work with service technician to improve process and documentation, plant hygiene etc.Calibrate ThermometersInspect the plant for unsanitary practices and conditions take corrective actions as needed.Participate, Update, Monitor, Verify the plant HACCP program.Participate and drive plant improvements in cleanliness, documentation and areas as needed or prioritized by management.Lead and drive the company/employees in achieving and maintaining SQF level certification by serving as a technical resource.Participate and drive the company/employees towards ensuring a high achievement score on the AIB audit by working with management and quality members.
