I.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Director, IT International is a critical member of both the
International and Corporate IT Leadership teams. The incumbent will partner with the GVP, International
IT to help define and lead all IT strategy and direction outside the U.S. and
partner with in-country resources to ensure effective execution in support of
ongoing business operations.

II.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Ability to work with International business
teams to recognize business issues and propose solutions to using technology
(when appropriate)

·
Ability to work-with and positively influence
both international business leaders and information technology teams

·
Assist the International team to ensure the IT
Operations within each country are organized and staffed appropriately, both
internally and through third party resources, to achieve growth goals and
operational stability

·
Help to formulate and deploy long-term strategic
plans for acquiring and enabling efficient and cost-effective information
processing and communication technologies for each International Entity including
Franchisees

·
Ensure equity markets are ‘secure’ &
‘maintain security’ regarding Payment Card Industry (PCI) & Personal
Identifiable Information (PII) standards

·
Ensure effective Tier I & Tier II support
strategies exist and effectively function within all International equity
markets

·
Leverage
OSI knowledge assets, including those for architecture, security,
disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision for various
International IT organizations

·
Direct research on potential technology
solutions and implementations in support of new initiatives, opportunities, and
procurement efforts.

·
Continually monitor and understand the
International IT Landscape

·
Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make
recommendations for the improvement of the IT infrastructure and IT systems

·
Review performance of International IT systems
to determine operating costs, productivity levels, and upgrade requirements

·
Oversee both business software (e.g. POS,
Financial, Supply Chain, etc.) and necessary hardware, network, and third party
resources to support each operation

·
Manage any team members assigned to the International IT team

Education:
·
Degree in the field of computer science or
information systems or related field required or equivalent combination of
education and experience required. Master’s degree in either of these fields or
Master of Business Administration with technology as a core component preferred

Travel:
·
Ability to travel internationally up to 60-70%,
as requirements dictate

Experience/Skills:
·
Minimum of 10 years IT experience with at least
3 years directly related to international IT

·
Minimum of 6 years of experience managing and/or
directing an IT operation with a high preference managing team members
internationally

·
International experience in one or more
countries, preference to Latin/South America and Asia/Pac regions

·
Experience in the Retail industry, with
preference to Casual Dining or Quick Service environments required

·
Proven experience in IT infrastructure strategic
planning and development, project management, and policy development

·
Must have a firm understanding of PCI-DSS
compliance standards

·
Ability to coordinate and drive IT Operations
without direct authority over the staff

·
Good understanding and technical knowledge of
current network and PC operating systems, hardware, protocols, and standards,
including restaurant-specific hardware
and applications

·
Experience with systems design and development
from business requirements analysis through to day-to-day management

·
Demonstrated ability to apply technology in
solving business problems

·
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations in
various countries as they relate to IT

·
Strong understanding of human resource management
principles, practices, and procedures
