This position will provide technical administrative support to the Land Administration Department. This person must be well organized to handle a wide range of support related tasks. This position is located in downtown Houston.
* Point of contact for incoming landowner inquiries; research area of inquiry, answer inquiry and route to appropriate Division Order Analyst, if necessary
* Build and maintain division order files
* Maintain Division Order Log for geographical area
* Prepare spreadsheets for departmental use
* Research and maintain Owner Inquiries in Enertia Land System
* Verify GWI/NRI on outside operated division orders by requesting necessary documentation to prove interest
* Business Associate research and initial contact information entry into Enertia Land System
* Maintain of Business Associate function in Enertia Land System
* Research legal suspense items to update addresses and tax ID numbers to reclassify owners to positive pay
* Review of Initial DOI deck setups for accuracy; print and mail division order notices
* Review returned DO notices for signature accuracy
* Review and translate legal documents/transfers of title to perform mass changes in Enertia Land System
* Handle/process returned royalty checks; coordinate with Revenue Accounting
* High School diploma or GED
* 2 years of experience as a Division Order Technician
* Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
* Ability to multi-task several problems simultaneously
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work in a team oriented environment
* Flexible to meet the needs of the company
* Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job must be able to lift files, packages and/or items up to 25 pounds
* Bachelor’s Degree
* Prior experience with Enertia Land System
