**Position**

McLagan is currently recruiting at the Analyst / Senior Analyst level for its Executive Compensation practice in Stamford, CT. Our executive compensation team works with clients to align pay with performance, design fixed pay and short and long term incentives. In addition, we provide clients with assistance in the preparation of Proxies/CD&A;, analysis for ISS and conduct risk reviews to support regulatory requirements. Experience in total compensation analysis, including an in-depth understanding of statistical tools, annual and long-term incentive design, and survey preparation is a must.

**Responsibilities**

* Analyze the competitiveness of client senior executive and non-employee director compensation
* Research compensation practices among client peer companies (e.g., equity usage, vesting provisions, performance measures, retirement program prevalence, etc)
* Stay abreast of regulatory developments impacting compensation (e.g. Dodd-Frank, Federal Reserve, and OCC restrictions).Analyze client financial performance for use in the determination of executive pay
* Prepare data and benchmarks for custom reporting projects

**Qualifications**

* Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills; Access helpful
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Accounting/finance background preferred
* Bachelors or Masters Degree

**Experience:**

Analyst: 0 – 2 years of experience, should have Advanced Excel and PowerPoint

Senior Analyst: 2 - 4 years of experience, preferably in compensation consulting or a corporate compensation function
