The IT Organizational Change Manager will be primarily responsible for creating and implementing change management plans that minimize employee resistance and maximize employee engagement, alignment and ability to the future change state. This role will work to drive faster adoption, greater ultimate utilization and higher proficiency on the changes impacting associates in the organization such that business results are achieved. To accomplish this, the IT Organizational Change Manager works under the guidance of the IT Change Management Director to deliver strategies that are designed to allow for maximum benefits associated with the change. The IT Organizational Change Manager also coordinates with all relevant stakeholders within the IT organization to drive successful delivery of change programs. This role also manages change interventions and large-scale process/people change programs in an effective and efficient manner and ensures the use of applicable techniques and methodologies to deliver change programs across the project/program lifecycle (planning, designing, testing, preparing, deploying, and follow-up on planned interventions). Required Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Psychology, Education, or other business-related area - 4+ years of experience supporting large, complex initiatives (preferably in the area of organizational development, IT transformation, training, and organizational planning) - 1+ years of business or client consulting experience (internal or external) with an emphasis on strategy, process reengineering and change management - Demonstrated experience providing change management support across a range of organizational functions and types of change. - Demonstrated experience using internal or off-the-shelf change management methodology (e.g., Conner Partners, Prosci) Preferred Qualifications: - MBA or Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, or other business-related area - Certification in an industry standard change management methodology (e.g., Conner Partners, Prosci ADKAR, etc.), ideally Conner Partners certified at Agent 1 or Agent 2 - Experience working in the IT industry With fiscal year 2012 sales of $50.5 billion, Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is a FORTUNE® 100 company that serves approximately 15 million customers a week at more than 1,825 home improvement and hardware stores in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
