Position Overview:

The Director, Products and Services (Managed IT Srvs; Strategy and Business Intelligence) facilitates the evolution, communication and governance of the MITS business strategy across organizational stakeholders in front office and back office by generating insights across customer, market and business performance trends and analytics to influence strategic direction.

This role will define and operationalize business KPIs (MITS Scorecard), orchestrating strategic governance, capital planning and reporting processes but also be responsible for leading strategic initiatives as required.

Please note: This opportunity is open in several key centres across the country, including Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary/Edmonton, and Montreal

Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitate the evolution, communication and governance of the MITS business strategy across organizational stakeholders in front office and back office by generating insights across customer, market and business performance trends and analytics to influence strategic direction
* Facilitate strategy development and planning across organizational stakeholders (sales, marketing, solution development, and customer and operations teams) to drive buy-in and translation of strategies to operational plans
* Manage MITS strategic governance, investment portfolio management and capital planning processes, ensuring and influencing alignment of decisions and investments to strategic priorities.
* Define and operationalize business KPIs (MITS Scorecard)
* Identify and raise data-driven opportunities, risks and issues to be addressed by functional teams and governance forums
* Lead strategic initiatives as required
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

* Advanced financial/data modeling and analytics skills and advanced process analysis/design experience
* Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and foster ownership, innovation, and collaboration across MITS and broader TELUS business leaders
* Knowledge of managed IT services and telco industries is an asset – market context and trends, buyer and competitor landscape, operations and finance
* Demonstrated change management skillset and ability to thrive in ambiguous situations. You will be paving a new road with respect to scorecards, reporting, governance, etc.
* Strong communication skills with an ability to convey complex concepts and ideas in a clear and concise manner – the successful candidate should have excellent PowerPoint skills and be able to weave inputs from multiple sources into a cohesive storyboard.
Required Education and Professional Designation:
* Post-secondary degree
* MBA, BEng and/or Financial designations are an asset
Required Experience:
* 7 years of experience working in a marketing/business intelligence environment
* 5 years of experience working with IT and managed IT solutions
* 5 years of experience developing strategy and planning in a transformational setting
