This position will be based out of our corporate headquarters in Virginia Beach and serve as part of our Strategy and Capture teams. Only those possessing outstanding prior proposal experience, Government RFP subject matter expertise, excellent interpersonal skills, and stellar written and verbal communication/negotiation abilities will be considered. Strong demonstrated proposal management prowess, unparalleled attention to detail and organizational skills, extensive FAR/DFAR expertise, and the dedication to work long hours as needed are a must.Duties: Assist the Contracts team as necessary to ensure the expedited processing of orders. Review solicitation documents and developing proposal templates and responses. Work with the Contracts and Programs teams in developing winning proposals, including both solicited and unsolicited bids Author original text for such non-technical activities as Executive Summaries, company qualifications, past performance, and other marketing-related materials Conduct interviews and work closely with subject matter experts to ensure a comprehensive and compliant response Assist subject matter experts in ensuring all RFP requirements can be met. Support proposal production through preparation, editing and final binding of all proposals Oversee timelines for submission of proposals and make sure that deadlines are met Coordinate all proposal sections (Past Performance, Technical Management, Pricing) and complete all required Government forms Maintain a library of capabilities to be used as the basis of past performance and marketing documentation Maintain a library of Past Performance documentsQualifications:Bachelorand#39;s degree in a Major field of study whose emphasis is on strong writing, thinking, researching, and reading skills is required. 3+ yearsand#39; experience in proposal writing and coordination for federal Government contracts. 3+ years of experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - must be able to develop charts, graphs, tables, et cetera. Excellent writing, grammar, editing, and organization skills. Experience in project management strongly desired. Strong interpersonal skills are a must - position will interface with customers, subcontractors, employees at all levels of the company to determine needs and design appropriate responses.
