The University of Connecticut, School of Engineering is seeking a full time Program Assistant I (UCP 3). The successful individual will support and coordinate various program and administrative duties for the areas of Engineering Computing Services, Machine and Electrical Shops. This position reports directly to the Engineering Technical Director. Duties include: assisting the Learning Center’s operations via scheduling and work force management; preparing and monitoring budgets, revenues and expenditures, assisting with monitoring, training and reporting all services associated to each service area; facilitating all building maintenance through a work order system; providing support by constantly communicating our services via web, posters or other technologies.

**Minimum Qualifications:**Bachelor’s degree in sciences, engineering, or business, or equivalent combination of education and experience; one to three years progressively responsible administrative support experience; computer skills with a solid knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to meet deadlines; resolve problems efficiently, effectively and independently; good communication and interpersonal skills; and excellent oral and written communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications:**Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others; and knowledge of HTML-Website Maintenance, PeopleSoft system and University Kuali Financial System.

Salary will commensurate with experience.
