**Heavenly Mountain Resort is hiring for Summer Attraction Attendants!**

We have positions available in:

* Tubing Hill and Climbing Wall
* Ropes/Challenge Courses
* Zipe Line

Please see below for position summaries. You will need to rank your preference of position/station.

**Tubing Hill and Climbing Wall Attendant: **

The Tubing Hill and Climbing Wall attendant will be responsible for providing excellent guest service throughout the tubing/climbing experience. This includes assisting guests with attraction safety, loading and unloading both the climbing wall and the tubing hill.

**Zip Line Operator:**

The Zip Line Operator will work to provide guests with an Experience of a Lifetime while enjoying the thrills and exhilaration of the Zip Line. The operator will work at various stations to provide instruction, safety overview and guidance to our guests as they enjoy the ride.

**Ropes Course Attendant: **

The Ropes Attendant is responsible for assisting guests on one of our 3 Challenge Courses. This includes instructing the guest on proper safety and use of the attraction, guiding them through various challenge routes and providing/fitting them for appropriate equipment.

**Responsibilities for all positions include:**

* Follows and adheres to all company and departmental service standards.
* Maintain a safe work area; i.e. tools stored, snow/dust removal, deck clear of debris etc.
* Abides by operating procedures; i.e. opening/closing procedures, inspections of equipment, communicating with guests etc.
* Greets, makes eye contact, listens to and responds appropriately to every guest’s needs and or questions.
* Adapts to changing business levels.
* Follows and performs all departmental policies and procedures.
* Work is performed in an efficient, accurate and organized manner.
* Monitor the operations of the Zip Line/Ropes Course/Tubing Hill or Climbing Center and its components continually, and notify appropriate personnel of any problems or unusual conditions.
* Completes all required paperwork legibly and in a timely manner.
* Willingly performs expected amount of snow work
* Responsible for accurate record keeping pertaining to all operational log sheets.
* Willingly performs other tasks as assigned.

**Physical Requirements:**

* Lift/push twenty pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally - Able to reach above head and operate tools and ride components.
* Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, feel, hear, see, repetitive motions, carry.

**Working Conditions:**

* Must be comfortable and confident while working at heights (work stations can be 40 to 60 feet off the ground and actual Zip Line up to 160 feet off the ground), and while doing so instill a sense of composure to guests and other Operators.
* Working both Summer and Winter seasons while outdoors at all times will require the ability to function in conditions from full winter blizzards to 80+ degree summer days.
* Must be able to work at high altitude

**Requirements:**

* High school education required.
* Basic mechanical aptitude.
* Ability to work quickly and alertly, and to strictly observe safety procedures. Ability to learn a variety of information about activities, events, policies, procedures, schedules, and the like pertaining to the resort and the area.
* Good interpersonal skills; Ability to engage guests in a courteous, efficient, and confident manner.
* Strong understanding of guest service

* Previous experience working at a Zip Line or similar attraction (preferred)
