Job Description Works directly for the Mission IT Manager in the Operations & Security Center (OSC). Monitor and operate the electronic security system and other systems in a multi-tasking environment. Acknowledge, investigate, and report alarms. Compile data and make recommendations necessary to maintain the system. Provide system and facility status, and log information in proper formats. Perform physical security checks of remote facilities and monitor security perimeters as required. Assist others in collection of data, testing, and evaluation of the security system. Perform other functions including visitor control, badging, escorting, and other related duties as assigned by supervision. Must be able to work in a launch site environment including ability to climb stairs and wear breathing apparatus. Overtime required. Must be able to work odd shifts/any shifts, including nights weekends and holidays.

Will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Must be able to climb stairs and perform perimeter checks (considerable walking).
