Job Description

**_Summary:_**

The Franchise Major Dealer Regional Director (RD-FMD) is responsible for management and oversight of all aspects of NextGear Capital’s business pertaining to Franchise Dealer Relationships and identified NextGear Capital Major Dealer Relationships. This includes all aspects of managing a portfolio from a risk mitigation standpoint including delinquency, collateral audits and dealer compliance. The RD - FMD is also responsible for growing the portfolio through increased penetration from existing customers and the development of new customers on a monthly basis. The RD-FMD must achieve target levels of delinquency; write off, active dealer growth and revenue generation.

Responsibilities

**_Essential Duties and Responsibilities:_**

* Hire, train, develop and retain NextGear Capital Franchise/Major Dealer Account Executives (AE-FMD) for prescribed territories.
* Create a team environment in the field to leverage the company’s field teams (Operations and Sales) to achieve the market specific budgets.
* Responsible for successful deployment of new initiatives / product offerings through field teams to exceed budgeted revenue / volume goals.
* Create a goal oriented / volume reporting environment for all direct reports to ensure that budgeted goals are achieved.
* Spend time in market on the road with all direct reports () for the purposes of employee development and coaching. Minimum 4-5visits per market per year.
* Ensure that NextGear Capital is maintaining and developing key relationships within each market with current and future partners / vendors.
* Develop NextGear Capital’s Mission, Vision and Principal (MVP) culture and philosophy within their respective region.
* Participate and be involved with other miscellaneous projects and assignments as requested for the company.
* Represent NextGear Capital in a professional manner to key industry contacts and relationships within defined region.

Qualifications

**_Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_**

* Of the automotive industry (various sectors)
* Of the finance industry (various sectors)
* General Management (Interviewing, Hiring, Training, Development)
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong negotiation skills
* Ability to lead and manage people remotely
* Must have strong time management skills and be able to manage deadlines
* Must be comfortable in a high pressure, results driven and fast paced work environment
* Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook with ability to manage high volume of electronic and voice communication
* Ability to learn company operating and reporting systems and Microsoft CRM

**_Education and Experience:_**

* Four year college degree strongly preferred
* 5+ years experience in general management and sales management required
* 5+ years experience in finance or auto industry preferred

**_Physical Demands:_**

* 50%+ travel will be required
* Flying
* Driving – valid driver’s license required
* Standing
* Walking

**_Training Requirements:_**

* On-the-job ability to learn new products/services offered and adapt to policy/procedure changes as required
