SUMMARY The CCR sells automotive products to automotive repair shops. Responsible for implementing new commercial sales programs, as well as expanding current programs to meet or exceed sales and gross margin targets. Partners with Commercial Store Operations Team (Commercial Parts Specialists, General Managers, Mobile Pros and Division Leaders) to execute the Commercial Sales Program Model in assigned Commercial Delivery Stores. The majority of the CCRs time is spent in the field making sales calls, cultivating new customer relationships and expanding existing commercial business relationships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Develop and maintain strategic partnership with Store Manager (GM), Commercial Parts Specialists and District Leader to achieve all agreed upon goals for the assigned accounts with emphasis on Sales and Gross Margin Dollars, drive incremental sales, and build stronger business partnership between Advance Auto Parts and assigned existing accounts. Present key message around Value Proposition and Product Offering and consequently grow Advance Auto Parts share of wallet. Identify and meet commercial customer needs by presenting products, services or ideas in a manner that clearly shows how they would meet the needs, provide benefits, and build confidence. Travel throughout assigned accounts making sales calls that best position Advances Commercial Customer Promise, products, and services; overcomes or minimizes objectives, and addresses unique needs and preferences of key decision makers. CCR will make favorable impressions by interacting with prospectclients in a manner that builds effective relationships. Proactively communicate with Store Team on a regular basis to ensure that customer expectations concerning product availability, accuracy, and delivery timelines are realistic and being met. Enter effective call notes around Voice of Customer, and updates core customer database into CRM on a timely basis. Provide feedback and input to local Commercial team and other business partners regarding competitive information, merchandising suggestions and other services to strengthen AAPs market position. The Team Member will be required to spend extensive time traveling in andor driving a vehicle.

These systems include, but are not limited to the following: APAL system, store team resume and key personnel, pricing tiers, daily schedules and commercial hours of operation, commercial credit and processing of commercial account paperwork. Computer proficiency required, including data entry. Candidate must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, sales increases and gross profit percent. Ability to define problems, collect and analyze information, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. Excellent problem solving ability. Proven sales track record. Possess working knowledge of Company products and services and the ability to present those products and services to meet customer needs. Ability to effectively communicate customer issues and gain win-win commitment for resolution. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers in a variety of settings ranging from one on one interaction to group presentations. Ability to interpret Company Policy and apply to a variety of situations, while maintaining consistency throughout assigned accounts.

EDUCATION andor EXPERIENCE Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, three to five years related selling experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Possess a working knowledge of automotive systems and traditional automotive aftermarket.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS ASE certification preferred. Possess a valid drivers license and meet the companys MVR requirements.
