**PURPOSE OF POSITION:**

Located in Calgary, reporting to the Director of the Lead to Cash Program, the SAP - MGR APPLICATION SUPPORT (SAP Portal – Web Channel Experience Management solution - WCEM) is responsible for supporting the lifecycle and overall health of SAP Portal Solution at CP, ensuring availability for the business based on Service Level Agreements. In addition, the SAP Manager is responsible for managing small to medium projects in the SAP Portal / WCEM space

The SAP Portal –WCEM support manager will lead a team of 5 – 7 Functional analysts and JSF developers to assist in gathering requirements, analyze, estimate, prioritize, design, build, test, implement and maintain the required functionality

To achieve this you will possess a post-secondary education (degree or diploma) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. In addition, you will have a minimum of 10 years related experience, including systems/applications development and support, business systems analysis, project management, of which 7+ years’ experience is directly related to implementation and support of SAP Enterprise systems, **specifically in the areas of WCEM and Call Centre technologies**

**POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:**

* Responsible for management and delivery of all appropriate application service requests and incident management with 24x7 support
* Manage on call Schedule and rotation
* Responsible for managing and developing; IS Functional Analysts, System Analysts, Developers, Programmers, Test Leads and Testers to support their application portfolio and maintain the application details within Service Manager including cross training and knowledge management.
* Performing application configuration and design activities.
* .Setting up the Web Channel Experience Management (WCEM) and the Builder tool
* Developing an ecommerce application using the WCEM application tools with CRM backend
* WCEM 2.0/3.0 set up and configuration
* Development for required WCEM modules /functions

* Analyzing, developing, testing and implementing functionality for enhancements, new projects and support pack updates in SAP
* Execute administration activities such as cost and planning estimates, status reports, and project plans
* Delivering Application Service Requests and enhancements to support the business needs for the application bundles ensuring key deliverables are completed such as requirements gathering, design reviews and solution walkthroughs, build phase, testing phases, change management, and implementation processes using the defined tools such as ALM (Application Lifecycle Management)
* Managing ad hoc analysis and determining and resolving root causes across multiple applications
* Balance competing demands for scope, time, cost, quality, risk and resources.
* Work with stakeholders and Environment Management for deployment coordination
* Liaise with the Infrastructure team and BASIS teams in regards to applications incidents related to the Server and Network dependencies Communication and collaboration with the business application owners.
* Provide outlook for replacement or decommissioning of applications at risk of being on black technology.
* Manage compliance with SOX, internal control, audit and legal requirements

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS:**

* University Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Commerce/Business Administration, or Engineering
* 7+ years’ experience is directly related to SAP Java development, preferably for applications like Internet Sales (ISA)
* Certification as PM (PMP) or BA (IIBA, CCBA) valuable but not required
* Technology-driven product development processes and methodologies for effective delivery and support
* Experience in IT application development supported by the services portfolio valuable but not required
* High degree of analytical skills
* Existing knowledge of supported tools/services and/or high degree of technical aptitude
* Ability to manage conflict and conflicting stakeholder and team interests
* Appreciating and understanding how to deal with different cultural values and sensitivities.

* Communication and influencing ability at working levels.
* Negotiation skills
* Experience in configuring, implementing and providing ongoing support of SAP version 4.7 Enterprise or higher.
* Good understanding of SAP module(s) and the integration between modules
* Experience utilizing the business process modeling function in SAP Solution Manager
* Experience utilizing the LSMW Toolset
* Fundamental knowledge of railway operations and processes an asset
