The **Marketing Communications Analyst** reports to the Senior Manager of Communications in the Corporate Technology group. This seasoned marketing professional is expected to collaborate with TE’s CTOs and technical leaders; engineers and technologists; and the Marketing Team to share TE’s technical expertise, tools and resources, successes, and best practices with the global engineering community, TE employees, and external audiences. The individual will be a conduit to the Engineering Organization to identify and research compelling technical communications that promote TE’s engineering community and innovations. Through a wide variety of effective and engaging communications, this individual will create a spirit of teamwork and collaboration by engaging, motivating, and enlisting engineers to share and contribute their ideas. The communications developed by this individual will be used to drive employee engagement, promote cross-company collaboration, and support a World Class Engineering culture.

**Employee Communications**

* Collaborates with the Internal Communications team to deliver global engineering communications in support of the CTOs and engineering leadership initiatives.
* Identifies, curates, and develops communications for the engineering community, then delivers them via targeted emails, TE’s global engineering intranet portal, and/or TE’s company-wide intranet.
* Gains detailed knowledge about TE’s segments and business units and works closely with their engineering leaders to write articles and develop communications that reinforce the CTO’s strategies.
* Supports internal engineering competitions and challenges with marketing plans and communications expertise.
* Shares news stories and recognizes people and their innovative projects. Builds subject matter expert awareness so that personal engineering networks can grow and be better leveraged.
* Increases employee’s understanding of and commitment to Innovation as part of TE’s growth strategy.

**External Communications**

* Collaborates with TE’s CTOs and Marketing team to conceptualize and develop ideas for various internal and external media relations, public relations, and educational campaigns that highlight TE’s engineering strengths and technology innovations.
* Works with Corporate Communications to develop clear, concise, and strategic messaging that promotes TE’s engineering innovations and leaders.
* Works with Corporate Communications and engineering community leadership to identify and curate compelling content that can be leveraged for key internal and external marketing initiatives, to promote brand awareness and drive business results.
* Works with TE’s Marketing team to write, organize, and/or edit content for TE’s web site and social media channels by presenting or providing relevant, compelling content to attract key audiences.
* Translates complex, technical material into clear, concise, and reader-friendly copy while balancing audience needs and business objectives.
* Manages content delivery timeline and review process, and then ensures approved copy is delivered on schedule.

**Executive Communications**

* Identifies the key themes and cadence of communications to be communicated to employees.
* Works with Corporate Communications to develop effective communication approaches to engage employees with the CTOs and their teams on specific projects and as a whole.
* Helps represent the “voice” of the CTO and select members of the CTO’s leadership team to TE’s broader employee audience.
* Develops and shares communications for the CTO and selected members of CTO’s leadership team.
* Helps “ghost write” executive scripts and talking points consistent with an executive’s style and tone.

**Qualifications:**

* 10-15 years experience in technology-related marketing communications.
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
* Practical experience working with global business, markets, and communities.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Demonstrated leadership competencies such as teamwork, independence, creative problem solving, flexibility, and willingness to challenge the status quo.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.** **
