The Global Procurement organization is part of Informatica Finance organization with overall responsibility for managing all Indirect Spend within Informatica. The team is focused on:
• Increasing the effectiveness of Informatica’s procurement activities through a reduction in cost and risk associated with contracts
• Improving the efficiencies throughout the procurement and vendor management process while maintaining the appropriate controls
• Developing strong, long-lasting relationships between Informatica and its strategic vendors and ensuring that Informatica proactively manages the performance of its vendors
We are a global service organization that enables Informatica departments and business units to excel at their strategic goals, optimizes corporate spend, and protects Informatica from undue risk
Your opportunity
Informatica is looking for an experienced Sr Procurement Analyst, who is enthusiastic about joining a lean team whose main focus is to contribute significantly to the success of Informatica. You will have the opportunity to expand your skillset through a combined focus on purchasing and vendor management activities across a wide range of indirect categories. This role is based in Bangalore, India, but is global in nature addressing procurement opportunities across the globe.

Reporting to the Manager, Procurement Operations based in Bangalore India, the successful candidate will be a key individual contributor in a lean and high impact Finance organization that is aligned in several geographically dispersed centers that supports an employee base of over 2,500 people in over 25 countries.
Our Ideal Candidate
This role requires a hands-on Individual, who is highly efficient and multi-talented, willing and able to manage and execute on the strategic direction of the team. The ideal candidate must be able to build strong relationships with Informatica business partners and vendors, be an expert in multiple indirect categories, including IT (Hardware, Software, SaaS, Services), HR, Facilities, etc., and exhibit a keen ability to successfully support procurement and negotiation deals on behalf of Informatica. You are expected to provide guidance on procurement activities to requestors /departments, ensuring defined procurement process are complied with in accordance to Global Procurement Policies, managing business relationships, and delivering results in accordance with business expectations and SLAs. You must have excellent communication and partnering skills and help to build processes that can be effectively executed. The ideal individual will have a positive, can do” attitude with a strong customer focus. Hands on experience on procurement operations of transactional purchase order processing, vendor set-up, contracts management administration, and software asset management will be an added advantage.
Your Responsibilities
• Pro-actively confers with and assists requestors from all departments to determine purchasing needs and specifications As required, run professional tender processes to ensure costs are compared and to meet the objective and secure selection of suppliers for goods and services to the company without compensating on the quality and sustainability of suppliers
• Receives and examines purchase requisitions; prepares bid specifications and other necessary documents related to the purchase of supplies, materials and equipment / Services.
• To negotiate with suppliers to deliver best value to the company
• To prepare and propose supply/purchasing strategies for products & services which ensure an ongoing delivery of quality product with a secure but cost competitive supply in support of the business
• Be the external face of the company with the supply community and ensure the company is represented in a professional and competent manner at all times.
• Constantly work on improving procurement process and adapt Best In Class procurement process are implemented to achieve the desired goals.
• Support Software Asset Management (SAM) processes, including software contract renewals concentrating primarily on tail spend, to ensure license compliance, etc.
• Maintains records on purchase price information on both open market and contract purchases and revises these as conditions change or as per available budgets.
• Analyze and Establish market knowledge for products and suppliers to become expert” to whom others can turn for advice for key products / suppliers under your management and take appropriate steps to ensure company leverages on the benefits.
• Work with colleagues and suppliers in locations throughout UK, Europe and APAC and support on procurement activities as required including negotiations.
• To ensure professional supplier management is applied across the available supply base, taking responsibility for a number of suppliers assigned / as required and ensuring their performance is maintained and where possible improved.
• Brief colleagues on market developments which may impact upon supply as and when required.
• Prepare information for use in SOP and Project Management meetings as required. Represent Procurement in these meetings as and when required.
Your Qualifications
Professional Experience
• 4 - 6 years of experience in sourcing and purchasing of various indirect spend categories including IT, HR, Facilities, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Travel, etc
• Experience in running a structured tender exercise for products or services and have lead successful vendor negotiations.
• Considerable knowledge of using purchasing tools, methods, procedures and techniques
• Demonstrated experience sourcing IT, Marketing, and Events, preferred
• Working experience in a Shared Services environment will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of Commercial, local taxations, STPI regulations will be an added advantage

• Exceptional relationship building skills that includes experience working with internal stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork and facilitation skills
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to present issues, ideas, and recommendations clearly in verbal, written and presentation formats.
• Innovative problem solving and strategic thinking skills, along with strong business acumen and analytical capabilities
• Quick learning of the unknown and speedy reaction to the sudden requirement aroused
• Can work independently and take initiatives around procurement activities to deliver best possible results.
Education
• A Bachelors or Engineering degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, or a related field
