DTI is seeking candidates for the position of Director of Business Development. The Director of Business Development is an individual contributor in a senior sales role that will focus solely within the Legal Sector. The primary target market will be new business from corporate legal departments. This role will be utilizing various internal resources for assistance throughout the sales cycle, including a Solutions Architect. The Solutions Architect will assist with RFP responses, technical application demonstrations and other deliverables as well as documentation required during the sales cycle.
Responsibilities:
* Developing new business accounts within their assigned region
* Responsible for the entire sale; from prospecting to closing the deal
Experience:
* E-Discovery/Litigation Support sales experience
Required:
* Proven track record of eDiscovery sales success to Fortune 1000 corporate legal departments as well as top law firms.
* Strong business acumen of the electronic discovery and litigation marketplace.
* Proven ability to quickly gain entry to key Law Department Executives and articulate a proven value/ ROI-based sale.
* Proven track record of managing a sizable geographic territory and building a robust pipeline of high potential accounts.
* History of managing large and medium sized clients with deal sizes in the range of $200K+.
* Ability to travel as required.
* Bachelor’s degree
* 7+ years direct sales to corporate legal departments and law firms
* Established corporate counsel contacts inside Fortune 1000 corporations
* Consistent quota over-achievement
