JOB SUMMARY: The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating and maintaining all digital and print graphics in accordance with GlyMed Plus marketing strategy. Position will be responsible for other marketing duties including: photography, video production, maintenance of website, and creative input. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:•Create original design for web and print using the Adobe Creative Suite and other software design tools•Collaborate with executives and marketing team to create print and digital media projects including: magazine advertisements, brochures, catalogs, manuals, product packaging, email communication, website ads, videos, webinars, and other marketing initiatives•Translate marketing objectives into creative designs and strategies•Manage multiple projects and timelines to ensure marketing goals are met from concept to completion•Proactively seek new and creative ways to differentiate the GlyMed Plus brand•Photograph products, facilities, employees, etc. •Record, edit, and upload video content to various websites•Assist in the design and maintenance of website•Ensure consistent branding message, with sound understanding of industry •Assist with analysis of current market•Communicate effectively with marketing team and executives•Other duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION AND-OR EXPERIENCE: •Associates Degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred; or Bachelor of Arts degree preferred•Minimum of 3 years in directly related role with established portfolio of workKNOWLEDGE AND OTHER SKILLS:•Demonstrated knowledge of fundamentals of design including: layout, color schemes, and typography•Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, video production software, and audio recording software•Strong background in photography and lighting •Video recording and editing experience is preferred •Knowledge and experience with the following languages is preferred: HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, Javascript, Actionscript AS2-AS3, CMS•Previous experience with SEO is preferredCOMPETENCIES: •Action Oriented•Comfort Around Higher Management•Creativity•Dealing with Ambiguity•Innovation Management•Organizing•Planning•Priority Setting•Problem Solving•Time Management
