Job Description Lockheed Martin IS&GS Defense is currently seeking an Cyber Security Specialist to support the Marine Corp s Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN).
Under immediate supervision, responsible for all aspects of Information Systems, data availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation. Implement and monitor security measures for communication systems, networks, and provide advice that systems and personnel adhere to established security standards and Governmental requirements for security on these systems. Execute security policies, plans, and procedures; implement data network security measures; operate and monitor Network Intrusion Detection and Forensic Systems; conduct Information Systems security incident handling; support COOP/DR plans, and perform certification of Information Systems and Networks. Operate Electronic Key Management System, perform other information security duties, and maintain Public Key Infrastructure. Operate Host Based Security System (HBSS), firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, other point of presence security tools, Virtual Private Networks, and related security operations.

The Computer Operator I works under close personal supervision and is provided detailed written or oral guidance before and during assignments. As instructed, this worker resolves common operating problems and may serve as an assistant operator working under close supervision or performing a portion of a more senior operator's work.
Basic Qualifications Certified in accordance with DODD 8570.1 Information Assurance Technician I.
2-4 years of experience required.
Desired skills Demonstrated familiarity with Navy/Marine Corp IT system, architecture and infrastructure. Host Based Security System (HBSS)certifiaction or experience.
In-depth knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
• Network monitoring tools
• Routing protocols
• Network design
• VLANs
• VPNs
• NetFlow
• Packet capture technologies
• Hands-on network administration (e.g., firewalls, routers, switches)
Experience in process improvement, especially to shorten network incident lifecycle timelines.
Ability to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills and strong customer service experience.
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) version 3 Foundation recommended but not required.
