The Project Manager functions as the lead person to run and execute assigned projects during the entire implementation process. This position holds the accountability to ensure assigned projects are completed on-time and on-budget by engaging and utilizing the appropriate assigned resources. Responsibilities: Manage the project timeline for a VISN, specific task order; Run and lead all VISN/Task Order specific project meetings for Intelligent InSites; Provide direction to internal teams (IT, configuration, training, etc.); Serve as the lead project manager until site acceptance achieved ( 6 months to a year); Ensure all project tasks and assignments are completed; Track and manage project hours - ensure within approved budget guidelines; Function as the overall coordinator of day to day resource assignments; Develop and refine implementation methodologies in terms of building tools and templates; Ensure all communications are completed - including weekly status updates, executive updates, etc.; Serve as a lead person for resource scheduling, leveling, and schedule crashing; Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities for specific projects; Provide management with periodic reports on resource levels, client status, etc.; Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements; Be fully accountable for project results; Minimize company exposure and risks; Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately; Foster a success-oriented, accountable, and ethical environment within the company; Perform other activities and duties related to the role, as directed by management.
