The HR Manager will deliver against the strategies and programs as determined by the functional HRBLs and COEs, more specifically in the areas of Biscuit and Confectionery categories, Region and Corporate Functions across North America (Including Canada). As part of the HR Operations team, they will provide outstanding HR support to assigned line leadership and functional teams as needed. HR Managers for Categories & Commercial will drive consistent policy and process application and are responsible for ensuring flawless execution of all HR programs. Requires Travelling to the sites across North America that are in Scope of function supported.
Responsibilities include:
· Provide HR expertise to assigned Leadership Team(s). Partner with line leaders and HRBLs to deliver against functional HR goals and business goals, utilizing both functional HR knowledge and knowledge of the business.
· Responsible for providing HR guidance to all employees within their defined scope. Support COEs partners in areas such as talent management, talent acquisition, compensation administration, training, AAP completion, and employee engagement activities. Lead local calibrations sessions.
· Coach people managers in application of HR programs
· Facilitate HR related training
· New Hire On-Boarding
· Interviewing candidates
· Act as liaison between employees and HR Coordinators and HRBLs. Coach & mentor HR Coordinators. HR policies and practices are administered in a consistent and professional manner.
· Ensure all labor laws are adhered to and verify compliance.
· Deliver HR projects and serve as subject matter expert for assigned area. Responsible for sharing best practices and continuous improvement.
· HR Solutions Team Effectiveness, Efficiency and Excellence
· Work with the regional HR Solutions leadership team to create and maintain a total HR Solutions team:
· Which enhances the total employee experience in line with our employer brand
· Collaborates effectively within the team to run joined up processes with minimum hand-offs and acts quickly to improve where interfaces are not working well
· Collaborates effectively across HR both locally and in the Region
Internal and external contacts:
· Interfaces daily with employees and local leadership teams, HRBLs and COE representatives. Requires strong linkage to local HR Coordinator.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.
· Minimum of 3 years of functional experience.

· French language proficiency (depending on scope required)
