TE is looking for a highly motivated individual as a Product Manager for External Interconnect for Consumer Electronics who will be responsible for Customer and Channel development aligning with Global Manufacturing and Engineering.

**Responsibilities*

* Global P&L; responsibility for Cable & Cable Assembly (Pricing, Margin, Capital, Inventory)

* Formulate strategic business plans to grow profitable revenues including reaching out to all business process owners

* Understand applications and product technologies to address customer needs to develop market based technology roadmaps

* Utilize product, market and competitive knowledge to recommend product pricing

* Partner with Sales, Engineering and Operations to ensure product quality, delivery and profitability and the S&OP; process

* Collaborate with Marketing and Marcom to effectively promote new and existing products

* Global customer visits and travel to manufacturing locations with up to 30% travel

* Participate in industry and technology trade shows to understand future design and product requirements

**Education and Qualification*

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with product development and/or manufacturing engineering experience, MBA an advanatege

* Excellent oral and inter-personal skills for driving technical discussions within the Organization and with Customers

* Capable to collaborate cross functionally and influence without direct authority

* Self-directed ability to set priorities and accomplish multiple tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and provide solutions

* Ability to develop and execute strategies in support of market segments, customers and products in-line with business plans

* Strong project management and negotiation skills

* Travel requirement up to 30%
