Description: Shifts: Variable 8 am � 4 pm or 2 � 10 pm
5-6 shifts/week including weekends, holidays and special events. Must be available seven days a week.

SUMMARY
The general purpose of this job is to provide skilled maintenance services to lodging and resort facilities and to assist all guests and employees with any maintenance concerns.

Duties: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
The essential duties of this job are to perform maintenance tasks assigned by the Facilities Manager, to keep logs of tasks performed and to communicate effectively with the Facilities Manager, Housekeeping, Kitchen and Front Desk.
Must possess excellent time management skills to efficiently and accurately prioritize and complete tasks.
Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly building tours and inspections.
Respond to guest and staff requests in a timely, courteous and professional manner.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks and repairs.
Assist other Maintenance Technicians and/or Facilities Manager on building/repair projects.
Maintain and repair resort�s plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses.
Paint interior and exterior walls, trim, railings, and signs.
Keep work and guest areas safe and presentable while performing repairs and installations.
Maintain and repair wood parts of buildings.
Repair or replace building brick, stone, and concrete.
Repair worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts in machines and equipment.
Assist with remodeling projects in Lodging units
Assist other departments moving furniture, making improvements, unloading and storing supplies as business levels allow.

DRESS CODE
Sundance recognizes the impact that our image has on the guest�s impression of the resort and the perception of out ability to provide professional service to our clientele. In order to best promote a positive, professional image that meets Sundance guest�s expectations, employees are required to dress in a professional, conservative fashion that is appropriate for their area. Please use the following as a minimum standard:

All aspects of the Personal Appearance policy (HR-050) must be in compliance.
Employees are required to wear nametags at all times while on duty.
Clothing must be unwrinkled and clean, and in good condition (no rips, tears, or frays regardless of whether accidental or fashionably placed).
Blue jeans are permitted.
Men�s shirts must be tucked in.
Appropriate skirt length is from the knee to the ankle.
A tailored fit is required of all clothing.
Tank tops, halter tops, tube tops, and spaghetti straps are prohibited.
Sleeveless shirts are permitted for females.
Bare midriffs are prohibited.
Proper footwear for your department is required.
Dress sandals are permitted for females.
Flip flops are prohibited in all areas.
Tennis shoes are prohibited unless there is a business need (ie: Canyon Clean Up, Guided Hike)
T-shirts must be in good condition and posses appropriate Sundance logos.

Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to four years related experience and/or training. Proficiency of all hand and power tools. Basic knowledge of HVAC. Trouble shooting electrical problems. Experience with commercial cooking equipment repair. Dry walling, painting, staining, framing and carpentry skills. Must know plumbing and trouble-shooting propane distribution problems. Basic knowledge of boilers and radiant heating. Basic Building Construction knowledge, able to read Blue Prints.

TECHNICAL/COMPUTER SKILLS
Must possess a working knowledge of internet navigation and electronic mail. Knowledge of Guest Ware 4 and SMS helpful.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess a valid U.S. Drivers� License in good standing as determined by Sundance�s Insurance Company guidelines

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
