* Achieve annual sales volume and profitability targets

* Develop/maintain high level of understanding of the X-Rite value proposition and present this when identifying/ understanding customer needs

* Manage and develop direct accounts and key dealer

* Identify and close new direct sales opportunities

* Identify and develop new dealers

* Efficient sales territory management

* Professional and appropriate communication both internally and externally

* To produce, manage and run demonstrations, events, presentations

* To develop and maintain knowledge and experience of relevant developments both in our product range and in our key markets

* Attend and contribute to sales meetings, presentations etc, recognizing the value of one’s own contribution to these events

* Extensive sales experience with proven, successful track record during that time

* Proven experience of closing sales

* Experience in one or all of our key markets(Automotive, Plastics, Paint and related)

* Some experience and understanding of colour control and management, issues in those markets, including software and hardware solutions preferred

* Proven success in identifying/developing direct sales opportunities

* Proven ability to manage and develop key dealers

* Efficient sales territory management

* Ability to work on own, but also must be a ‘team worker’

* Ability to communicate appropriately and professionally at various management levels, both internally and externally

* Fluent in German and English mandatory

* Experience of product demonstration to customers at different levels

* Self-motivated, disciplined, professional, enthusiastic, honest, resilient and possessing excellent influencing and communication skills, both verbally, written and when delivering presentations and workshops

* Ability to identify the right time to close sales and to execute close in an appropriate and professional manner

* Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility in order to complete job tasks

* Applies a commercial and technical awareness with a customer focused attitude and approach

* Ability to build constructive relationships with clients at all levels

* Ability to manage customer expectations to ensure that X-Rite is able to deliver the required levels of service and customer satisfaction

* Comfortable under pressure of achieving sales targets and deadlines

* Can produce innovative and creative solutions to problems

* Ability to work unsupervised but also to work as part of a team when required
