You will play a key role on a team that protects our nation's most critical information systems. This involves the following:

*Provide oversight of incident data flow, response, and remediation
*Performs real-time, proactive security monitoring using various systems such as SIEM, Anti-virus, Internet content filtering/reporting, IDS and IPS.
*Generate or update security events within the process framework of the client using available workflow management, document management and collaborative tool sets.

* Assist the client in coordination of information flow to external organizations. This includes but is not limited to telephone, e-mail, video-conference, and online chat forums to coordinate with customers in regards to security incident reporting, updates and support.

* Assist in the development and packaging of information papers and other aids developed for customers.

* Interact with all levels of leadership. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and initiative and be able to speak to both technical and non-technical audiences.

* Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures.

* Support a 24x7 Security Operations Center.
Candidate will be assigned to a specified shift, but must be willing to work multiple shifts to include days, swings, nights, weekend days and/or weekend nights.

General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems is seeking candidates to join the team and begin building a career in the cleared Cyber Security community. Ideal candidates will be those that show an interest in the field and demonstrate they have the ability and desire to grow, develop and build their skills.

Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related specialty or the equivalent, and 5 to 8 years of related experience or a master's degree and 3 to 5 years of related experience.

Top Secret security clearance, eligible for SCI (DHS Suitability required/preferred) is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Ideal candidates will have knowledge of network security to include patching and updating software. Experience/familiarity with workflow management tools such as Remedy.

Candidates with a security clearance who have recently graduated from college and obtained a bachelors degree in a discipline related to those previously mentioned who have some exposure to the programs list above are encouraged to apply.
