Tejas Tubular Products, Inc (Casing Plant) is currently seeking an Entry-Level Accountant to assist Plant Controller in accounting or related jobs. Experience Required * Bachelor's degree in accounting - * 1-2 years experience in accounts payable or related duties * Knowledge of ERP systems preferred * Must have strong work ethics * Must be well organized and a self-starter * Must be able to follow standard filing procedures * Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable Responsibilities * Review all invoices for appropriate documentation * Interact with vendors regarding to the invoice issues * Scan invoices and keep track with all the payments * Assist with processing vendor maintenance requests * Respond to all vendor inquiries * Respond to all vendor inquiries * Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies * Retrieves hard copy invoices for other departments or external auditors as needed * Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices * Coding the expenses invoices and entering them into the system * Assist with month-end and year-end closing * Assist Plant Controller with special projects as assigned Candidates when applying please make sure that you have the minimum requirements before apply.
