MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
* Either an Associate's degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field or a Programming Certificate from a recognized institution is required
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements
Experience
* Minimum three years increasingly responsible programming experience using a standard coding language and/or platform required.
* Minimum two years experience writing detailed unit and system test plans for small to medium sized projects or business and/or systems requirements, design documents, preferred.
* Minimum two years leadership experience in business and/or system process engineering projects preferred, based on business unit Project planning experience preferred. If an object oriented language is required, domain/entity modeling is preferred
Technical
* Based on area of responsibility and departmental need, knowledge of: one program platform is required (Tandem, Windows, UNIX, Linux, or Web, OS400) and/or one standard programming language is required (e.g., C, C#, SQL, Visual Basic, Visual Basic.net, C++, HTML, PERL, , People Code, RPG ILE, .NET, JavaScript, ASP.NET, SQL Server, MySQL, ActionScript, PHP)
