Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Funds Reporting Analyst to support the Variable Funds and Product department by performing a wide range of functions relating to the system development, analysis and reporting of variable funds and products. Responsible for maintaining/creating some applications to generate accurate financial reports for management team. Requires knowledge of or interest in learning various aspects of variable insurance products and their underlying investment options. Participates in or leads different projects on an annual or quarterly basis. Performs QA role for multiple systems built internally and runs various reports to ensure data quality and proper systems function. Additionally, works with other teams in the department on various systems testing, reporting and analysis projects. Works independently and diligently to resolve issues and meet deadlines. The incumbent must deliver top notch customer service through the use of interpersonal, technical, and analytical skills.

Primary Functional Responsibilities:

* Work with several Excel applications and various type of databases/Access applications to prepare/maintain timely and accurate funds reports, financial reports. Ensure data integrity by validating data info from fund/product administration systems using a variety of available resources.

* Work/communicate with Legal department and other teams for various variable funds/products and data issues.

* Recommend and work with team to develop automated solutions for current manual processes.

* Perform QA role for any systems internally built.

* Enhance the efficiency of workflow and processes.

* Lead some projects and self-directed individual with ability to multi-task and work under deadline pressure during the annual fund expansion season (Jan – May).

* Review reports for accuracy and completeness; tailor report format and content to the target audience.

* Perform analysis of data and high level summaries

* Proactive customer service including developing business relationships and partnerships.

Job Requirements

Minimum requirements:

* 3+years experience in a related field

Preferred requirements:

* Advanced MS Excel skills,VBA macros, data filters, fomulas, pivot tables.

* Strong data management skills and relational database knowledge.

* Preferably, candidate has a Finance or MIS background.

* Attention to detail.

* Good communication and interpersonal skills.

* Top notch multi-tasking skills; team player; highly motivated.

* Strong dedication to customer service.

* Must be a quick learner with strong analytical and organizational skills.

* Readily adopts work routine to meet new requirements and business needs.

* Bachelors degree in MIS or Finance.
