Job Description
**Summary of Responsibilities**:**
Acts as liaison with regionalized support departments to obtain and schedule resources to meet business plan objectives within specified time period. Understands and monitors firm performance against the business plan to prioritize acquisition and alignment of resources.
**Principal Responsibilities*
* Participates in the annual Business Planning meetings to thoroughly understand the firm’s vision, strategies and goals as it relates to recruiting, onboarding, marketing and training.
* Thoroughly understands the metrics, action plans and target dates for all recruiting, marketing and training objectives.
* Develops, implements and monitors recruiting, onboarding, marketing and training project plans to obtain regional resources to meet target dates and obtain metrics as specified in plan. Obtains Market Leader/Managing Director/Partner approval.
* Ensures Project Plan contains clearly defined and detailed tasks/activities required to support marketing, training, recruiting, onboarding objectives.
* Consults with regional organization staff to determine and agree upon activities.
* Meets with Market Leader/Managing Director/Partner and Firm Leadership Team on a regular basis to establish accountability for the project plan through the identification of owners and within the firm and the regionalized support departments. Provides updates and monitors plan to completion.
* Ensures Managing Sales Director(s) at detached sites as well as all firm infrastructure members and Financial Services Representatives receive regional support as dictated by project plan.
* Reviews project plan with Market Leader/Managing Director/Partner on a regular basis to ensure actions are aligned with the Individual Distribution, Region, and Firm strategies.
* Builds strong and effective business relationship with regional organization staff to implement and deliver on project plan action items.
* Engages regional organization staff on a weekly basis to provide and obtain updates staying on track to accomplish the objectives of the project plan.
* Manages the daily workflow of the project plan with the identified firm owners and regional organization staff.
* Executes on components of the project plan not supported by the regional resources
* Serves as the gatekeeper for the firm to ensure that coordination of resources aligns with firm business plan.
* Consults with specific regional support department to build calendar of events sponsored by the firm and/or regionalized support department.
* Coordinates logistics with Regionalized Support Department for scheduled firm meetings/events
* Meets with all members of the sales leadership team to review their business plans and offer suggestions on regional resources that can support their objectives, then schedules time with the appropriate resources.
* Identifies areas of opportunity w/in firm, relative to recruiting/marketing/training support, and offers solutions.
* Performs other duties as required.
**Position Requirements**:*
* 2 years of related work experience in project planning within the financial services industry.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Computer skills (Microsoft Office and Windows.)
* Demonstrates technical and functional expertise.
**Preferred Requirements**:*
* Associate or Bachelor’s degree
* Thorough understanding of MetLife products and procedures
* Certified Project Manager (PMP)
* Marketing/Recruiting/Training background
