Job Description Our Availability team is seeking a QE Engineer who will be responsible for testing vSphere Site Recovery Manager product. In this role you will work closely with development teams to coordinate the smooth integration of feature delivery into the product.

You will work at conceptual and code level to create practical, cost effective solutions for product QE. You will work closely with developers in design reviews and help ship high quality VMware products. This requirement is primarily for a candidate with Java/Selenium/Action Script automation experience..

Responsibilities:
- Actively involved in Automation framework including core libraries development using Java and Action Script
- Participate in design and code reviews to enhance the automation framework
- Test design, implementation, execution, debugging and automation using Java and Selenium along with basic Windows and Linux system administration
- Analyze automated test results
- File bug reports and follow up on the problems until complete resolution

Requirements:
- Masters degree in Computer Science
- Strong understanding of Windows/Linux operating systems/networking
- Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Python, Perl
- Broad technical knowledge including:
- Operating system fundamentals (task scheduling, memory management)
- Familiarity with WSDL, SOAP, XML
- Basic systems administration (installing and configuring operating systems and hardware)
- Software development lifecycle
- Good software engineering practices
- Basic software design principles
- Excellent communication skills required

Desirable Experiences:
- Experience with TestNG highly desirable
- Experience with VMware virtualization products such as Workstation, ESX, Virtual Center, Converter or LabManager or virtualization products from other companies such as Microsoft, Xen, Citrix and Parallels
