Job Description

The Data Architect will help drive and define Gartner's strategy in areas such as data management, analytics modeling, and business analysis. The candidate will collaborate with technology team leads to build a key understanding of Gartner’s enterprise data/information assets, identify potential relationships/correlations, and communicate the value these relationships can provide. The ideal candidate will help move Gartner beyond traditional BI and warehousing capabilities and ensure we leverage and derive value from all our enterprise information assets. Key responsibilities include:

Collaborate with leadership teams to identify and understand Gartner's key information and data assets

Work with business units and IT to help better visualize and discover value within our enterprise information assets

Model business problems, discover business insights and identify opportunities through the use of statistical, algorithmic, mining and visualization techniques

Job Requirements

BS in Computer Science, Math, or Statistics

10+ years of experience in data analytics role working with various data and analytical technologies

Deep understanding of various database related technologies (relational DB, NoSQL, warehousing, etc) and data processing languages (SQL, R, Python, SAS, etc)

Experience working with big data problems and diverse data sets

Excellent communication skills (written and oral) are a must
