Executive level position that leads all field sales activities of OMSolutions (targeting, sales, revenue generation). Responsible for the performance in achieving sales and profitability goals of OMSolutions. Collaborates with other Owens & Minor leadership (Core Sales, Core Distribution, Enterprise Team, Strategic and National Accounts) to create and communicate consistent strategies for the healthcare provider organizations. Creates relationships with the officers of healthcare provider organizations. These relationships support the formulation of service strategies to improve the efficiency and profitability of the provider and the operations of OMSolutions. Develops strategies, positions programs to fulfill strategies and creates contracts to deliver services to healthcare providers.
Leads all OMSolutions sales efforts. Reports to the Vice President of OMSolutions.
*ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:*
1. Has responsibility for revenue targets and profitability of OMSolutions.
2. Builds the appropriate relationship with key healthcare providers that supports the positioning of programs, services and technologies from OMSolutions.
3. Collaborates with counterparts in Owens & Minor Core Distribution to insure that these operations are supported in a cost effective manner.
4. Manages the contracting process for services delivered.
5. Directs OMSolutions sales efforts. Collaborates with the Director(s) of Professional Services to build an effective delivery team.
6. Collaborates with pears and the other leadership of OMSolutions to create and promote standardization of best practices.
7. Creates budgets when appropriate and supports hiring plans to accomplish the needs of consulting, outsourcing, value added programs and core (O&M) service requirements.
8. Insures that all commitments are made in accordance with Owens & Minor policies and the commitments made to all customers can be fulfilled and implemented.
9. Participates in executive level forums and strategy sessions that guide OMSolutions in the development of people, programs and technology.
10. Works with third-party consulting organizations when appropriate to develop and deliver programs and services

3. Guides OMSolutions personnel in developing procedures and implementing them.

QUALIFICATIONS
*A. EDUCATION & FORMAL TRAINING:*
Position requires a broad knowledge of an advanced professional discipline not available at the undergraduate level. Equal to a Masters degree, CPA, CPE, CCM, CMA.
An MBA or MHA is preferred.
Professional certification at the University Level is preferred.
*B. WORK EXPERIENCE:*
At least ten years experience in consulting and sales to the executive levels of healthcare. Experience with logistics/supply chain operations in healthcare and similar industries. Multiple industry experience is preferred.
Experience in positioning, selling and delivering large consulting engagements.
A demonstrated ability to generate relationships at the CEO, COO and CFO level is essential.
Budget P&L responsibility
Proven ability to lead, and to manage the leadership of, multiple large-scale engagements, preferably in a diverse geographic/demographic setting.
