**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:**

The Auxilliary Services Department is seeking a Traffic Manager/Coordinator to
act as the lead coordinator for all receiving operations.

Duties will include:

* Accept and sign for all incoming packages from vendors; including, but not limited to, UPS, Federal Express, Purolator, Emery, and DHL
* Oversee receiving staff; delegate their activities relating to loading and unloading of trucks
* Coordinate sorting of all packages according to their respective locations
* Dispatch delivery staff to College buildings
* Oversee the loading and unloading of packages on trucks and carts
* Determine the most appropriate way of ship items; coordinate and maintain records of all outgoing merchandise such as returns
* Ensure that packages are sent to the correct location by contacting the Purchasing Department to obtain the correct address
* Answer questions regarding the receipt of packages that may be misplaced or report to supervisor as needed
* Coordinate and schedule trucks for pickup and delivery
* Perform other related duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

Education and Experience:

* H.S. Diploma/GED and 3-5 years of related experience required

Skills and Competencies:

* Speaks to clients and colleagues in a respectful and thoughtful manner
* Provides excellent customer service and has demonstrated attention to detail and good interpersonal skills
* Must be able to physically lift up to 65 lbs
* Must be able to safely operate loading equipment (hand truck, hydraulic lifts, etc)
* Must be able to operate postage machinery and computerized mail system and adhere to U.S. Postal rules and regulations
* Must be able to prioritize and delegate tasks
