SKF Salt Lake practices 5S, Six Sigma, and offers a clean and controlled tooling center.This candidate must have a strong knowledge of machining principles including; speeds and feeds, turning tool and insert application, blue print reading and interpretation, proper use of precision measuring equipment, material characteristics, manual machine operation (Mills, Lathes, Surface grinders, Bench grinders, Media blaster, Etc.), Cnc turning center set up, programming, and operation. Mazak-Mazatrol T2-Matrix software knowledge is a plus.Candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the mold making process, including; machine set-up, programming, operation, measuring, fitting, and repair of damaged molds.This is not an entry level position. Applicants must have min 2yr machining education and 2yr on the job work experience or 5 yr on the job work experience. Applicants must be able to; lift 50 lbs, pass physical and drug screen. Applicants considered will be tested on basic knowledge during the interview process.Position available is for our Afternoon shift. Interested applicants should prefer this shift over days.
