Qualifications/Duties
Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, a Magnet facility, is searching for an experienced full time Neonatal Intensive Care Unit RN.

DEPARTMENT:

- 47-bed Level III Neonatal ICU
- Patients: micro-preemies, multiples, use central lines, surgery patients.
- Have a PICC team in place
- Attend High Risk deliveries

Qualified candidates for the Level III NICU RN position will possess the following:

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, customer service oriented and energentic individual.

A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Basic Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited RN Nursing program.
Current RN license to practice in the state of Texas.
One (1) year of current Level III Neonatal ICU experience as a RN is required.
- Nursing care of Infants in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Current BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers and NRP certifications.
Basic computer skills - computerized charting - use EPIC/Care Connect.
Good verbal/written communication skills.
Critical thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is strongly preferred.
National Certification is helpful.
Flexibility with schedule.
Prefer more than 2 years of current Level III NICU experience as a RN.

HOURS:

Full-time: 6:45PM-7:15AM, (3) 12-hour shifts per week. Some weekends and holidays required; self-scheduling
