Job Description This Construction Project Manager position is responsible for on-time and on-schedule implementation of energy services performance contracts (ESPC) and other design-build projects, typically within firmed fixed price (FFP) delivery where a savings guarantee from energy savings is provided by the project. Integrates project plans and implementation with other members of construction project, such as customer engineering and construction staff, other owner’s representative, general contractor, architect-of-record, mechanical and electrical designer, LM subcontractors, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, delivery and rigging teams, and trades, for demolition, delivery, installation, engineering and commissioning.
Works with project development manager to transition from Investment Grade Audit (IGA) to project implementation to finalize Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) and any renewable power generation system designs as directed in the project's task order award.
Inspects or directs the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules. Responsible for all subcontractor work performance oversight, scheduling, reporting, corrective action, invoice review, development and management of punch lists and closeout activities. May have responsibility for multiple, simultaneous projects. Works with client to facilitate ECM and renewable measures commissioning and acceptance and then manages handoff to post-acceptance phase of project, including delivery of required operations and maintenance activities and measurement and verification (M&V) activities. Work will be performed in Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands and will require candidate to travel to those locations and remain for extended periods.
Basic Qualifications * Construction management experience in large building retrofit environment.
* Advanced project planning, management and execution.
* Ability to read and manage to mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) plans while managing contractors and trades. * Experience working on-site in built, commercial building environment with architects and owner’s representatives.
* Problem resolution in logistics, scheduling, critical path operations.
Desired skills Intermediate to fluent Spanish language skills. PE, CEM, LEED and other relevant professional certifications.
