Job Description Seeking an Oracle apps database administrator with application Administration 11.5 and above experience with eBusiness and PL/SQL, is responsible for fully supporting Oracle databases to; ensure availability, performance and security.
Application fundamentals such as concepts and architecture
- Application DBA for implementation and support of E-Business Suite R12 on 64bit RedHat Linux and Cisco FlexPod
- 10gAS10.1 administration and configuration experience
- Analysis and application of Application security and application patches
- Cloning Oracle Application Systems
- Maintaining and managing Concurrent Managers
- Forms/Report Servers installation and support
- Discoverer, workflow, mail server installation and support
- Managing Web Servers and Application server components
- All the EBS administrative utilities. Customizations and code deployment
- Database restrictions for the applications so that the installation is still supportable and conforms to all Oracle requirements.
- Application related regular and maintenance functions such as month end and period end functions.
- Application environment backup and recovery constraints
- Monitoring, Tuning and load balancing of the application servers
- Printers Configuration and User Access Administration
Expert in Applications performance tuning and troubleshooting
Strong Oracle forms/reports/patching skills
Strong Oracle applications R12.1 application knowledge from a functional perspective
Multi-node implementation experience; applying patches, cloning, trouble-shooting concurrent managers, and trouble-shooting forms/reports issues, configuring load-balancing
Ability to identify and resolve performance issues with Oracle Applications technology stack
Experience of working in a team that delivers a high availability service
Strong Analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced implementation environment
Excellent communication skills

-Knowledge and experience with Oracle's database, focus on security components.
Candidate should have relevant experience to leverage maximum out of the box function from OIM/OAM Product suite.

Responsible for performance analysis and monitoring, DB and Application tuning (OEM)
Provides security management, workflow administration, patch application and testing, TAR follow-up support
Contributes to development of technical infrastructure framework, hardware and software sizing analysis and hardware and DB architecture
Contributes to infrastructure testing and performance tuning
Responsible for defining and executing database backup and recovery procedures

• Oracle Application Server - Candidate must understand the internals of the Oracle concurrent manager and understand
how to monitor and tune Oracle Applications. Familiarity with Oracle Advanced Supply Chain, Financials, Demantra, iSupplier, OBIEE, RMAN, SSO, OID, shared application tops, RAC
• Experience cloning and patching the E-Business environment utilizing tools such as rapid clone, adadmin, adctrl and adpatch.
• Experience supporting Oracle Applications versions 11.5.10.2 through R12, Oracle Database /9i/10g,
SQL*Forms, SQL*PLUS, PL/SQL, SQR, ORACLE Reportwriter, UNIX shell scripts, high availability setups for CMs, dbs, and apps tier.
•technical support experience with Oracle Financial Applications
•experience with large scale UNIX Systems in a network environment.
•experience with Oracle application Administration (11.5.x and above suite preferred).
• PL/SQL experience.
• Technical support experience in Oracle Discoverer is preferred
