Main Purpose of Job:

Responsible for planning and delivering marketing communication campaigns to support the business strategy. This role will include predominantly e-marketing, also as required, support with advertising (print & online), event management, liaison with external suppliers & brand awareness. Additional requirements of the role include market research and assisting event organisers.
Duties:
* Execute marketing campaigns, within agreed deadlines and allocated promotional budgets, working closely with internal designers and copywriters, product manager, marketing managers as well as external agencies.
* Manage the e-marketing and communication campaigns across the Life Science organisation with the facilitation of customer communications, lead generation campaign and promotion of new training schedules
* Utilize all elements of the marketing mix (including; direct marketing, advertising, event promotions, sales collateral, web development and E-marketing) to support the marketing strategies (including; sales support; direct revenue generation; lead generation; retention; product launches/upgrades; creating brand awareness and customer relationship management).
* Support the marketing managers in day to day activities, particularly focusing on communications elements
* Report and analyze the groups MROI (marketing return on investment). Monitor report and analyse key marketing performance indicators including: web traffic, pay per click advertising, leads, subscriptions, email tracking and downloads.
* Track and report on the number of marketing generated sales leads and lead response using the CRM system.
* Manage web content ensuring relevance and accuracy. Update content using the internal CMS (content management system).
* Track, report and analyse all Life Sciences trade events, develop relationships with key event provides, and identify/secure speaking opportunities.
* Manage media lists, monitor editorial opportunities and schedules. Manage online and print advertising production and delivery.
* Manage the groups tracking of expenses and monthly accrual process.
* Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager on a permanent or temporary basis. Permanent or temporary basis.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
* Ideally you will be a marketing graduate, experienced working in a commercial marketing department.
* Self-driven and results-oriented marketing professional.
* A good communicator with a clear focus on quality.
* A great ability to project plan, organize and multitask.
* Proactive, enthusiastic approach to work and finding solutions to obstacles.
* A good team player with the ability to work on own initiative.
* Able to understand directives, prioritise work and meet deadlines.
* Technically proficient with the ability to learn new software programs and systems.
* Experienced with social media and new media technology.
Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, media or business studies
* High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point required
* Experienced with HTML, web and ideally Eloqua email system
* Experienced in Photoshop/Fireworks
* Knowledge of CRM and CMS desirable.
