We're Indiana's leading heavy equipment supplier, offering a wide range of high quality new, used, rebuilt and rental equipment from Caterpillar and over 50 other manufacturers.Position ObjectivePosition supports Application and Ag sales staff by assisting with strategic customer interface, machine operation training, liaison, and providing expertise on all aspects of herbicide and fertilizer application products and associated technology. The successful candidate is the process owner for customer demonstration of the products and is the liaison of performance and service input to marketing, engineering and manufacturing functions within MacAllister Machinery and Agco. The individual also will grow the application business by interfacing with customers, assisting sales staff with customer needs analysis, technical information and quotes, and supporting field operation of new systems and strategic accounts.Essential Position DutiesGrow Rogator, Terragator and associated equipment sales, advising Application and Ag Sales staff on functionality and compatibility. Associated equipment to include Wilmar tender boxes, NH3, 28%, manure application and pull type sprayer equipment.Provide sales support, coordinating demonstration programs, creating and implementing customer interface programs (clinics, field days, operator training, focus groups, etc) as requested.Install Ag Technology products and systems as required.Dedicate time to assessing customer needs and acting as a consultant on equipment and technology options.Perform duties as the organizational expert on operational settings, options and field performance of Rogator and Terragator branded products and application equipment.Conduct and assist with equipment inspections and competitive analysis.Effectively interface and coordinate with Service Coordinators, Parts Specialists, Sales Administration, Field service personnel, Service Managers, Parts Managers.Provide technical assistance and customer support on all Ag technology products and options.Stay abreast of all related field campaigns, warranty procedures and service bulletins.Troubleshoot all aspects of application products, working onsite at customer locations as required.This role is expected to champion the new, unique and difficult situations associated with performance, capacity and quality of Rogator and Terragator branded equipment.Maintains motivation and is interested in and effective in achieving targets and group tasks.Actively facilitate and participate in factory visits with groups of strategic customers.
