Tracking Code 1009-314 Job Description The Biology Department and Environmental Studies Program at Augsburg College invite applications for a part-time faculty position in a new River Semester program, to begin in Fall 2015. The instructor will teach three biology courses while traveling down portions of the Mississippi River with a week on the Gulf of Mexico. Candidates should have a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates and willingness to work in an intensive off-campus travel program, involving 16-20 students, two staff, and the program director (a Political Science professor). This is the initial offering of the program and the position will include some planning and course preparation in the summer of 2015. The position starts July 1, 2015 (part-time), with full-time commitment starting Aug. 15, 2015, and will be completed by Dec. 31, 2015, with possibility for renewal for future offerings.
