Job DescriptionProvide leadership for the Jack Link s business across customer teams to develop customer-specific, insight-based shopper solutions that deliver the annual business and brand plans. Set the overall Shopper Marketing and then set the annual plan by Customer. Develop a deep understanding of how target shoppers behave in different channels, formats and specific customers; leveraging this intelligence to the benefit of the brand, the shopper and the retailer.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the liaison with the Field Sales Teams, Trade Marketing, Marketing, Consumer Insights and Business Intelligence Team
Bring shopper and customer understanding to life: Internalize core consumer & shopper understanding and translating them into stronger, more impactful ideas and commercial programs that drive shopper decisions
Advocate for shopper initiatives that drive category growth by understanding brand vision and positioning, innovation and new product development initiatives, and promotional plans
Guide the organization to choose actions that support the brand s promise, brand equity, and brand health in context of the customer s business model
Deliver distinctive Shopper Marketing competencies to the customer. Leading strategic dialogue with customer(s) to drive longer term, strategic growth plan.
Manage the Shopper Marketing budget and Agency
Ensure execution of shopper activities per plan
Job RequirementsEducation:
Bachelor s degree in Business or Marketing
MBA preferred
Experience & Skills:
Minimum of 10+ years in CPG sales and/or brand marketing, customer marketing, shopper marketing, market research, shopper insights and/or Category Management experience
CPG brand marketing or some combination of brand or shopper marketing, and market research, category management
Previous project management experience including cross functionally projects
Strong strategic, conceptual thinking, financial, analytical, drive for results, selling and negotiating skills
Strong project, budget, and agency management skills and experience
Strong leadership skills
Experience in a Sales environment (customer/shopper marketing and/or direct sales experience
