1. Marketing Excellence
• Build a culture of marketing excellence by providing thought leadership, consulting, coordination of training, and strategic focus on marketing activity effectiveness. Leading deep dive marketing projects will be critical to success.

• Drive focus on new product commercialization, working with innovation leaders, marketers and leadership to build process, structure and skill set.

• Work closely with sales, marketing, leadership and the commercial excellence team to drive improvements in channel.

• Provide thought leadership, training and coaching on marketing use of CRM to ensure optimal utilization.

• As a key member of the strategic planning team, work closely with leadership and subject matter experts to build content for EPD Vietnam strategic plan.

• Work closely with the global marketing competency leader to replicate programs in Vietnam. Work with Marketers and business leadership to drive opportunities for marketing development.

• Drive the development of a strong marketing community through participation on the Marketing Sales meeting and measuring the effectiveness of the Marketing events.

• Provide inputs, facilitation and thought leadership on all areas of marketing excellence to achieve our goal to be trusted experts, helping every marketer succeed, helping sales to win brand recall KPIs
2. Marketing Communication Integrated Communications Process Ownership:

• Owner for the marketing communication process

• Actively leads initiatives around process improvement and activation

• Engages with businesses and global Organization to elevate and drive forward strong marketing communications

• Leadership of initiatives in the broader communications community to ensure that communications is a driver of EPD growth

• Benchmarking, Developing communications professionalism

• Up-to-date thinking/ new opportunities/communications trends
Planning & Strategy:

• Manages annual marketing communication planning process for commercial excellence department, aligning it with strategic plans and priorities

• Manages internal and external resources to provide long-term, cost-effective communication services that meet organizational needs.

• Advises and influences senior management to help develop communications plans to meet organizational needs.

• Sets strategy and structure for all communication for expertise pillars and initiatives.

• Ensures the strategic direction and structure of the communications for the department meets organizational needs

• Leads communications projects and campaigns addressing new or highly complex organizational needs
Activation:

• Researches, plans, executes and measures activities encompassing internal and external communications.

• Develops, edits and coordinates approvals for key communications news releases, talking points, product data sheets, visual media products, internal stories, organizational announcements and presentations.

• Works directly with senior leader (GM) to craft key messages and develop transformational communication – including presentations, speeches and critical email messages, video production, etc.

• Manages key events including internal meetings, town hall meetings and others as defined

• Develops content and coordinate placement on internal and websites, and social media platforms.
Digital Marketing:

• Analyze digital advertising trend and industry competitive situation to provide strategic counseling and implementation services in creative and media strategy

• Work out digital advertising planning and buying through competitive analysis

• Handle related agencies (creative and media and platform/applications creation) to implement the proposed digital activities to ensure in line with marketing strategy

• Coordinate to execute mentioned marketing support activities as in-country marketing focal point for EPD.

• Interface with Advertising Agency, Activation Agency and to implementation planned activity.

• Maintain brand standard in all executions of Advertising & Promotion programs.

• Evaluate digital advertising and program effectiveness / suggest improvement opportunities.

• Track expenditure of in-charged marketing support activities within country

• Website development and maintenance: Take role as Country Implementation Leader.

• Develop EPD Implementation Plan in collaboration with Affiliate IT team to contribute to corporate website and other microsites

• Roll out the Implementation Plan in the country, including processes and tools in compliances with corporate/global guideline.

• Develop strategic plan to drive traffic to Abbott’s EPD website and microsite through online and offline activities

• Work on digital marketing planning and implementation including email marketing, social media, viral marketing,…

• Conduct in-depth performance analysis across key metrics to recommend and execute enhancements in digital marketing campaigns

• Research and explore the opportunities for communications campaign through digital activities

Others: Ensure all business activities comply with the PG code, Viet Nam code, relevant Acts, legal demands, Abbott code of conduct and ethical standards.

Education Bachelor or masters degree preferably in science, business administration, industrial engineering or operations management or related courses
Experience
