**_Job Summary/Purpose_**

Responsible for meeting with customers to determine electric needs and requirements.

**_Job Duties/Responsibilities_**

**1.**

Negotiate terms for electric service delivery.

**2.**

Prepare work request for revenue and improvement projects.

**3.**

Stake pole lines, acquire Right of Way easements, prepare cost estimates, prepare construction drawings and coordinate other pre construction activities.

**4.**

Assist with storm restoration efforts both local and out of town.

**_Minimum Requirements_**

Minimum **education** required of the position

2 or 4 year Technical Degree and minimum experience requirements.

Minimum **experience** required of the position

Associate I: 5 years operational experience or minimum education requirements

Associate II: 2 years technical experience and Technical Degree, or 10 years operational experience

Minimum **knowledge, skills and abilities** required of the position

Good interpersonal skills along with strong written and oral communication skills. Good knowledge of Personal Computer operations and related software. Basic theory of electricity. Ability to interpret construction drawings. Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities. Ability to work well under pressure. Self-motivated and dependable team player. Good math skills. Familiar with National Electrical Safety Code and national Electrical Code. Required to work safely and follow all Entergy safety policies and procedures. Ability to recognize hazards in the workplace and have the ability to mitigate the hazards. Ability to maintain and care for Company equipment properly and safeguard assets. Ability to meet the public in a pleasant and tactful manner and understand the importance of delivering a high level of customer service. Demonstrated acceptance of a diverse and inclusive work environment and customer base. Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvement. Desired: Knowledge of electrical distribution material. Knowledge of electrical distribution construction practices. Working knowledge of the AM/FM graphical program. Working knowledge of the DIS estimating program. Knowledgeable in MS Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Knowledgeable of Entergy’s corporate applications (EARL, ESTER, PEARL, etc.). Knowledge of Entergy’s Customer Service policies. Knowledge of Entergy’s distribution material and construction practices. Knowledge of Entergy’s DIS program.
