During our summer internship program you will be given assignments that expand on the skills you have developed in school and provide on the job experience. The internship opportunities are within one or more of the following areas: Workplace Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Radiation Health Protection, Toxicology and Ergonomics.
Responsibilities may include the following duties for Workplace Safety & Industrial Hygiene, Radiation Health Protection, and Toxicology: assist with investigations, assess compliance, participate in workplace audits, draft corrective action plans. Provide safety design requirements, identify potential areas of risk, perform risk mitigation, and perform field surveys.
Responsibilities may include the following duties for Ergonomics: assisting ergonomics staff with evaluating employee exposure to risk factors associated with typical manufacturing processes such as overhead working postures, kneeling and working in confined spaces. Collaborate with production, tool design, training center and other support organizations. Support standard ergonomics processes and tools.
**Qualifications**

Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Occupational Health & Safety, Ergonomics, Radiation, Toxicology Human Factors or related Science field (or a consolidated Bachelors/Masters degree program)
A minimum overall GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
