The Senior Dermatology Sales Representative targets, promotes and sells dermatology products to Clinics, Hospitals, Physicians other specialized medical or healthcare providers. Manages his/her territory in order to maintain existing physician groups and develop relationships with new physician groups to achieve district and corporate objectives. As a member of the sales team, works closely with the RSM, other district team members and other groups, internal and external, to achieve district and corporate objectives. Will provide quality consultative service, coordinate and integrate outside alliances, as well as other internal personnel and resources to fit customer needs. The incumbent will:

* Market/sell Dermatology Products

* Customer focus/Building Positive Relationships-Penetration of large accounts and identifying key decision makers. Creative thought process in developing a customer base.

* Create territory plan including goals and resource allocation (coverage, sampling, grant/education proposals, etc. for key customers).

* Gain formulary acceptance/compliance with managed care accounts.

* Scientific understanding of all products and clinical papers.

* Team with customers as a business partner. Proactive in seeking out potential customers, maintain knowledge of long term trends and patterns to create account business plans.

* Utilize consultative skills in assisting customer with their business.

* Handle expense reports, IT tools, and stay current on product information.

* Must follow Pharmaceutical Compliance Code. The selected candidate is required to possess the following:

* B.S. Degree with 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and or experience.

* 4 years of prior Pharma or related industry sales experience

* Must have a Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record.

* Ability to travel as necessary or required.

* Must be organized, self-motivated, and possess advanced business knowledge (e.g. sales, marketing, finance) to meet/ exceed sales objectives.

* Proficient computer and software skills are needed to maintain and input sales territory records and to complete sales data and promotional information.

* Competent negotiation skills needed to assure return of investment on sales and service transactions.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required when dealing with customers, fellow employees, and management.
